Email author bio, synopsis, chapter-by-chapter summary, and the first 50 pages—numbered, double-spaced, 12-point Times/Roman font—in a single .doc or .docx file to submissions@milspeakbooks.org. Please ensure your name is on each page of the manuscript file.

MilSpeak Foundation is a nonprofit and independent traditional publisher for two imprints, MilSpeak Books and Family of Light Books, seeking original work created by military service members, veterans, family members, and caregivers. Our authors do not pay reading fees or any fees associated with the process of publishing. In most cases, manuscripts chosen for publication are selected by one of our acquisition editors, and often with input from a team of writers and writing professionals. While the Foundation is unable to offer advances against future royalties, the Foundation still welcomes agented and unagented submissions of high-quality writing with compelling messaging written by writers who qualify under our guidelines.

All MilSpeak books are offered in print and digital formats. At MilSpeak Books and Family of Light Books, we want our authors to love their books, find their readers, and enjoy their publishing partnership with us.
